Family-friendly Café Starennest

Café Starennest is a stop for a snack for many hikers, skiers and excursionists. Both in summer and winter the menu offers typical Allgäu dishes like our famous Kaiserschmarrn according to great-grandma's recipe and a variety of snacks and „Brotzeit“.

Additionally, we want to pamper you with our home-made cakes, a cup of ice-cream or just a nice coffee or a cold beer from the Postbrauerei Weiler.

The small guests are also very welcome at Café Starennest! Beside our kid's menu we offer a playground with a climbing/sliding combination, trampoline, swing, sandbox and much more to have fun. All in eye-shot of the parents, of course.

The great thing is: during the opening hours our kitchen staff from the restaurant will attend to your needs as well! All-day dining, so you can restore your body with a hearty meal after a hike or skiing.

Juli 2018: Starennest attends Marktfest Oberstaufen
„Allgäuer Kässpätzle“, home-made game bratwurst, and „Kaiserschmarrn Great-Grandma style”– aside a “Pfälzer Schoppe” (Wine from Palatinate) in the original “Dubbeglas”. With those culinary specialities we will attend the Marktfest in 2018 for the third time. Visit us at our booth!
